Plants to CO 2
Overview:
The systems CO 2 represent the first choice for the extinction in a wide variety of harsh environments. Fast, efficient and suitable for a wide range of hazards, the discharge of carbon dioxide, also a staff clean and cheap, does not lead to property damage and not leading electricity. Protection "multi-risk" can be designed to provide an automatic and simultaneous download in various risk situations and configurations.
Systems and equipment to CO 2 at low pressure are the most suitable for applications where required large amounts of carbon dioxide. High pressure systems are recommended in case of small spaces or low-risk situations.
Principle: In a few seconds the gas completely fills the protected area and smothering the combustion. Being a gas cleaner for the environment (CO 2 exists as a gas into the earth and is one of the products of combustion) its use did not impact the environment. It also does not cause damage, it does not require cleaning and leaves no residue, no leads and can be used in a wide range of applications.
Its versatility makes it indicated and effective for a wide range of flammable and combustible materials.
Implementation:
A CO 2 system consists of one or more batteries storage tanks that provide fire-extinguishing. Exhaust flexible pipes connecting the tanks to a manifold which distributes the agent into a network of pipes. Nozzles finally regulate the flow of CO 2 within the protected area.
Areas of application:
• Generators of electricity
• Cement Plants
• Production and processing of metals
• Impanti print
• Production of cars
• Production of electronic components / computer
• Research institutions
• Marine Systems
• Automatic storage systems
